The 11th International Seminar on Tropical Animal Production (ISTAP XI), held on November 7–8 and hosted by the Faculty of Animal Science, Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia.

This biennial event brought together experts to discuss key topics in animal science, including livestock socio-economics, agricultural sustainability, animal breeding and genomics, and waste management.

This year’s theme is “Building a Smart Livestock Ecosystem and Environment: Synergy Among Stakeholders and Sustainable Animal Practices,” set the stage for insightful discussions and feature speakers from renowned institutions worldwide, such as the University of New England, Masaryk University, and Universiti Putra Malaysia.

During the event, I was invited as a lead speaker in a parallel session, where I presented my study titled “The Relationship Between Fecal Antimicrobial Components and Mastitis in Dairy Cows.”  This experience not only allowed me to share my findings but also provided valuable feedback, expanded my professional network, and opened doors to future collaborations with researchers across Southeast Asia and beyond.
