Thanks to support from this grant, I was able to present my work as part of a symposium titled “Vision in Action During Perception, Memory, and Decision-Making”, with my own part titled “Efficient Measurement of Dynamic Working Memory”. As part of the symposium, researchers from Australia, China and Japan came together to discuss how we can use human action to investigate cognitive processes. For my part, I presented the results of my research demonstrating how measuring working memory ability using dynamic stimuli is not only more efficient, but also allows us to investigate memory in temporal and motor contexts.  

Furthermore, my attendance at the conference allowed me to reconnect with researchers from Australia, China, Singapore and United Arab Emirates. While I keep in connect with my research colleagues electronically, the opportunity for casual, face-to-face communication allowed for the exchange of many ideas, some of which I have hope will become fully fledged research projects.
